Freshwater scarcity due to the region’s semi-arid climate is a challenge shared by both countries. After drawing on nearly all available water resources and promoting vigorous conservation programs, Israel has made it a national mission to develop non-conventional water sources. These efforts have focused on water reclamation, intercepting runoffs, artificial recharge, “cloud seeding” and desalination. The session will focus on advanced technologies for enhancing water supply and management.
